As much as I love my mother, sometimes she makes it pretty hard. Sneaky, just plain sneaky
So I just joined an art community. It's got a forum and all sorts of excellent tools to play with for free! Cool ne? I thought so too, until I got to the submissions page. Turns out there's a little clause there stating that they can use MY art in whatever they want for whatever they want WITHOUT asking me! (they save this tidbit of information until AFTER you've joined) And on top of that, if they should be sued, I may have to help pay! Fat chance! No way no how. Even Tripod, evil bastards they are, never said you had to worry about their legal fees! What really steams me, is the thought of my art being used without my permission for a site that can and does make money!! So fuck you Deviant Art!! *raises middle finger for emphasis* Tomorrow, I'm KO'ing my membership! That kind of arrogant bullshit didn't win me over back when I was on Tripod and it isn't gonna work for you. *grins evilly and starts charging a ki ball*
